Summary:
This series consists of handbooks published annually by the State Education Department documenting its regulation of the nursing
profession. Handbooks generally contain statutory requirements; regulations, and information on examinations, education and
certification. Some contain a list of Nursing Board members with area of expertise and institutional affiliation; lists of
nursing schools in the United States and Canada approved by the Board and a brief synopsis of nursing requirements in each
state.
