Administrative History
Annual financial reports of counties are generated pursuant to Article 3, Section 30 of the General Municipal Law. That law states that every municipal corporation shall annually make a report of its financial condition to the state comptroller, and that such reports shall be made by the chief fiscal officer of the municipal corporation.
The New York State Archives is part of the Office of Cultural Education, an office of the New York State Education Department.
