Summary:
This series consists of copies of a dependent re-survey of portions of the boundary of the Allegany Indian Reservation and
portions of the village lines within the reservation at Cattauragus County, New York. Included are two copies of a survey
map and a forty-four page duplicate copy of associated field notes. The city of Salamanca is located on land leased from the
Indians. These records probably relate to a dispute which occurred when the long-term lease of that property ended.
