This series was created by the Joint Legislative Committee on Crime, Its Causes, Control and Effect on Society in April 1968. The tape and transcript were acquired by the University of Michigan Law School Law Library and later transferred to the New York State Archives in June 2007.
The New York State Archives is part of the Office of Cultural Education, an office of the New York State Education Department.
